This month, we’ll explore Swami Saradananda’s book, “The Power of Breath.”  Saradananda is a former editor of Yoga Life and director of Sivananda Yoga Centers in New York, London, and Delhi.  Now based in London, she teaches meditation and yoga around the world.  In her latest book, Saradananda explores the five aspects, energies, and functions of breathing to show us how to breathe better for harmony, health, happiness, and spiritual growth.

We’re switching gears a bit this month. The past eight months we’ve explored several mind-body practices to recognize and release limiting thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. I encourage you to continue to explore and practice those techniques that you found most helpful.

This month, we’ll dive into Gregg Braden’s latest book called “Fractal Time: The Secret of 2012 and a New World Age.” In this fascinating study, Braden takes us through the ancient prophecies and modern scientific research surrounding the year 2012. Is 2012 something to be feared or embraced?

We’ll explore Braden’s notion of “Fractal Time” to better understand the conditions that we can expect in our personal lives and on the planet in the next few years and beyond. Most importantly, we’ll discuss how we can respond to these conditions to create the best possible future.

I think you’ll find this book fascinating and inspiring. If Braden is right, there has never been a better or more crucial time to ramp up your spiritual practice.

For March, we focus on Dr. Bradley Nelson’s powerful book “The Emotion Code.”
